TWO-STAGE VANE PUMP

To improve the backing pressure and displacement at low pressure two stages are connected in series.
ANTI-SUCKBACK SYSTEM
If the Power Supply fails on stops, an anti-suck back device. Prevents air or oil the pump to be drawn back into the chamber being evacuated and operated by Solenoid coil.
GAS BALLAST
The gas ballast allows a quantity of air to be injected into the second stage of the pump during compression to reduce the partial pressure to the pumped gas below its saturated Vapour pressure and thus prevent condensation.
The saturated vapour pressure of a gas is higher when it is hot and lower when it is cold.
When gas ballasting is in use, there will be increase in ultimate pressure of the pump as well as the temperature.
